Tissue Freezer Services
Central Biologics offers a monthly freezer maintenance, as well as, an annual deep clean freezer service with temporary tissue storage. Regular cleaning will help to prolong the life of your tissue freezer.
Condenser filter cleaning and seal inspection
Monthly service includes cleaning and inspecting the condenser coil filter for each freezer unit. We also inspect and clean the outer doors seals for each freezer unit to maintain optimal freezer performance.
Remove excessive ice build up and cleaning
We also inspect inner gaskets for cracks and remove ice build up to ensure a proper seal. We will remove any ice build up that is on the inner door to maintain an adequate seal.
Remove ice and frost build up in the interior chamber
Excessive frost reduces the performance of any freezer’s cooling capabilities. We vacuum and scrape all frost from each freezer shelf. If biologics are being stored in the freezer, we temporarily transfer and store them while the freezer is being cleaned.
